Coming Up The Slant
When I looked over the railing, I saw her coming up towards me. Spring signals the start of turtle nesting season.

Ran into Walkstick2 while we were walking. I found this little snapper next to the sidewalk. I had her moved him down by the water.

A softshell turtle I caught on the Canadian river. I was advised it was a smooth based on the lack of horizontal spines in the nose

Wild albino

My dog found this turtle in our back yard! We don’t have any known turtles nearby but a pond which has never had a turtle introduced.

Seen while hiking down the creek. Found in a small ditch with little water.

I am not a turtle expert, but I do know it is a map turtle of some kind!

She was clearly a much younger turtle than the first female; her body size was almost identical but her head was 5mm narrower.

West Cambridge way, Hammersmith Subdivision.
Turtle was crossing street near active clearing of trees for new subdivision.

Initially a Red-eared Slider and an Eastern Painted Turtle were fighting over a dead Bullfrog, then a larger Pond Slider joined in and took off with the dead frog
