Placed in Bonnaya, but epithet misspelled per https://www.ipni.org/n/799810-1 and https://www.ipni.org/n/805232-1. Closely related to the type species of Bonnaya per https://doi.org/10.3372/wi.43.43201; if that genus is accepted, it seems likely this species should be in it. Accepted in Bonnaya also by https://doi.org/10.1071/SB14002.
