The Sugarbird Group's mission is to protect and preserve the unique biodiversity of the Cape Floral Kingdom (fynbos).

To achieve this we remove Invasive Alien Plant (IAP) species that are threatening the fynbos and the delicate ecosystem. We currently operate on SANParks property, in collaboration with them, in the Table Mountain National Park, with their permission.

We are entirely funded by donations and are a registered public benefit organisation based in Cape Town, South Africa.
