Elizabeth went to the quilt show in Plano, so I went to explore a nearby park for... a few hours. :)

Elizabeth and I explored some of the "Joppa Nature Preserve" after we volunteered this morning. Saw a few cool critters and plants. :)

At lunch, I also stopped by this little trail to look around. Saw only a few things today here -- it was quite windy.

At lunch today, I explored this little area around Skyvue Memorial Gardens. Was hoping to see a bit more, but this area was pretty heavily mowed.

After doing a dove survey in morning and meeting with Brett at Dallas Parks and Rec, I stopped by this park for lunch.

Two pounds, four ounces! For a little urban creek, this is a HUGE fish! Pregnant female released alive. Caught on a plastic worm.

I presented to a group of hunters and fishermen tonight in Plano, so I came an hour early to explore this little creek in Harrington Park.

Observed just a couple things at the parents' place on this hot, still Sunday.
