Lemon coloured flower form.

Same plants as in the previous observation of this species.

Dark face, boggy ground, under matagouri. Not sure about this species but the habitat seems right.

Patchy in wet areas at this site.

Occasional on the wet cliff face.

Local around coastal seepages.

Growing around exposed coastal seepage. Leaning towards L.tenella.

cellphone is 16cm, so tallest plant just a little taller. Seems like flowering is over, given some have already deployed and expended capsules (photo 8). Reopened a flower with fingernail.

One of the few localities known north of Auckland. Of course when I find this plant my camera dies, so excuse the bad phone photos.

So many flowers!!

A single valve (the flat one) washed up on the high tide line. No signs of any more of this very fragile species. The other valve is quite inflated and round.

Found in grass near to native forest. Length 35-40 mm.

Common around bases of Cyathea dealbata
