Duplicate observation for the tree swallow in this interaction. A park ranger told us that the Bluebird and Tree Swallow both had nests in the same stump this season so they were always fighting with each other.

Fairly heavily bodied @2.5' - 3' in length, displaying defensive flattening in first photo.
Note the cloudiness in the right eye compared to the left; photos 2 & 3. I'm assuming it was blind in the right eye for lack of a better explanation?

A Black Rat Snake just being a “Chicken Snake”. Near Lake Ellis on East Mountain (the same East Mountain made famous by Carl Kauffeld in "Denizens of Dutchess" in his book Snakes and Snake Hunting, 1957).
