Apologies @petermarriott, I'm not sure I understand. Are Spilosoma canescens and Ardices canescens not the same taxon? This swap was based on comments from @kallies
Ardices canscens is the current name for the species formerly known as Spilosoma canscens based on Dubatolov (2005)
This is not A. canescens which is an Australian species.
