Progress on the GO!

Lots of great observations have been flooding in from Zealandia and the surrounding halo area from today's BioBlitz Go! event.

Before the BioBlitz started Wellington experts compiled a list of the species known to be in Zealandia. They reached 383 species. Of these, 193 had been found and photographed by people on NatureWatch NZ.

So far today people at the BioBlitz have added 93 species on NatureWatch NZ, including 16 species not on the original lists. That's a great start.
