Fungi Themed Nature Walk - 10/6
Today I went on a nice walk through the Houghton Garden in Chestnut Hill, MA. Even though I went there last week, I absolutely loved it and wanted to return for this week's walk. I took my walk around 9 am, and the weather was absolutely perfect. It was about 55 degrees Fahrenheit, which felt cool while the sun was shining bright at the same time. Throughout my walk, I was able to spot many lichens, which are a type of fungi. I took pictures of lichens on rocks and trees. Besides fungi, I was able to spot many different types of beautiful plants, which I also documented. I cannot wait to go on my next nature walk. They are such a great way for me to get out and move!
