I’m a maniac with a camera, anything I see gets photographed no matter where I am or what is going on.

I mainly upload observations here, but I do identify quite often too. I mainly identify birds and Erotylidae. My IDs may not always be accurate, I may click the wrong button, just plainly get the species wrong, or misunderstand some French guy that’s trying to describe some obscure beetle in an old book, so don’t put all your faith into my ID. If you have any question with an ID I leave, or just want to know more about an ID, feel free to ask about it.

Feel free to tag me on any Erotylidae observation you want identified. I'm best at Erotylidae from North America, Southeast Asia, and Australia, but I'm working on getting better at everywhere else. Currently going through Erotylidae in Africa.

As far as my observations go, if you need any extra info or extra photos, please ask and I can usually provide. A lot of the insects I observe that are dead I do collect and pin, and can easily get better photos (I will also try to add some photos of the pinned specimen later on after I actually pin it).

Anxiously awaiting the 2024 Brood XIX periodical cicada emergence.
