I'm a retired botanist with experience in the Pacific Northwest, Intermountain Region, and parts of California. Particular interests are alpine and desert habitats and rare/endemic plants.

I like to travel as you can see from my posts. Generally, I depend on popular guidebooks to plants and animals, hence my taxonomy especially outside of the western US may not be up to date. I welcome corrections.
