Systematist, Taxonomist, Botanist - focus on Astereae (esp. Euthamia, Heterotheca). Actively working on a revision of the latter with the aid of molecular phylogenetic data (HybSeq, RAD-seq). Other projects involvement Ericameria, Solidagininae s.l. (including Gutierrezzinae), and the North American Astereae clade more generally.

Currently a PhD student at University of Oklahoma (School of Biological Sciences, Oklahoma Biological Survey) under the advisement of Abby Moore. MSc graduate from Southern Illinois University under the advisement of Kurt Neubig (and Lowell Urbatsch from LSU).
