I love being connected to nature in any way. I've taken multiple classes over the years to brush up on my outdoor skills and along came this increased desire to improve my identification skills. I see nature as the greatest artist (who can reproduce the vivid colors of a tanager or a painted bunting) and all the inspiration that it creates. I have just graduated from the Greater Baton Rouge Master Naturalist program.
