Hello visitor, I am a naturalist from serbia.

Joined in 2017 but haven't really used my profile much up until 2022.

No formal education in a biology-related field (attained a degree in graphic design), I am rather a self taught enthusiast.

Always looking forward to learn more and don't mind being corrected, it's part of the learning process.

Learned quite a bit on this platform and I hope someone learned something from my IDs/remarks. It is not without its flaws though, mobile version in particular leaves a lot to be desired and in need of a thorough make over.

(Self)appointed iNaturalist translator/proofreader for my native language - serbian. Singlehandedly translated 40%+ (iNaturalist Web) and 20%+ (iNaturalist Mobile) from scratch (h e l p). Seriously, if you would like to help out with translations or improve the existing ones, let me know.

I don't have all that many observations, mostly because multiple life circumstances get in the way of getting out into nature more, hope that will change at some point in the future.

Currently my primary focus on here is reviewing new and old Theraphosidae, Scolopendridae and Sicariinae observations and handing out IDs to the best of my knowledge. In most cases, I am staying away from observations of central/north american Aphonopelma and still not comfortable enough with some australian Scolopendrid taxa.

If you think I might be able to help you out with providing ID on a specific observation you can tag me and if you did tag me and it's been a while, don't hesitate to remind me.

For the past year and still ongoing, obsessed with Sicarius/Hexophthalma and trying to read all the papers I can get my hands on so if you stumble upon a new observation of theirs and I am all over it, don't be surprised. Fairly sure I reviewed every single Sicarius and Hexophthalma observation on here to date. If you are one of the very few people who are interested in them, found them in the wild or have experience working with them, I am listening.

Feel free to reach out here or through Facebook, especially if you would like to discuss taxa mentioned here or tell me something about any taxa you find interesting even if they are not mentioned here/totally unrelated.

You can write to me in serbian, english or if you are not familiar with either of those, feel free to write in your preferred language and we will make it work with translator.

Always striving to be more, instead of to have more.

It takes a brilliant mind to witness the spectacle of nature.
