I have been based in the Selous Game Reserve in southern Tanzania for 5 years. Initially I was conducting lion population research and since 2012 I have been working for Frankfurt Zoological Society on a reserve management assistance programme.

When either out in the reserve or even sitting at my office I come across a facinating range of wildlife. I am very interested in wildlife monitoring be it elephants or the birds that visit the bird bath each morning.
