Forest Ecologist, Certified Arborist, and PhD student at Michigan State University. I am broadly interested in boreal and hemiboreal ecosystems, with my current work focusing on the physiological ecology of jack pine in the great lakes.

I also work managing the Oakland University herbarium, digitizing specimens, updating taxonomy, and generally lending some time as a botanist to support research there. Check out the collection on GBIF
