I am a biologist studying the diversity of spiders, especially the ones in South America. Currently I am a postdoc at Museo Argentino de Ciencias Naturales Bernardino Rivadavia in Buenos Aires. I have worked thoroughly on the taxonomy of crevice weavers (Filistatidae), sand spiders (Sicarius, Sicariidae) and spiny orb weavers (Micrathena, Araneidae). I joined iNaturalist to upload photographs of organisms I see during fieldwork, to help identifying spiders, and to learn more about other organims. Arachnids are fascinating and I want more people to get excited about them! When I'm not looking at spiders I'm either gardening, cooking, or swing dancing.
