I'm trained as a field geologist and geologic mapper, but discovered native and invasive plants when I moved to Washington DC a few years ago. I volunteer as a Weed Warrior removing invasive plants in Rock Creek Park and other areas around the DMV, and grow native plants in my yard. I really love the support of the iNat community and learning about plants from everyone.
