I am a retired District Ecologist / District Fish & Wildlife Biologist, having worked 36 years for Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF and MNR), in Pembroke District and Guelph (Cambridge) District. Prior to the MNR career, I worked seasonally for Halton Region Conservation Authority (now Conservation Halton); 2 years in the forestry program, and 4 years as a field biologist.

I continue to have an interest in all fields of natural history, having participated in numerous biological inventory projects in natural areas of Ontario Ecoregions 5, 6 and 7.

Nature photography (species, habitats, landscapes) has always been a significant part of my outdoor explorations.
