Was a Biology major in college and volunteered to work with the naturalists one summer in the Rocky Mountain National Park as part of the Student Conservation Association. Was always interested in nature but I stayed in Los Angeles and took other kinds of jobs. Loved volunteering at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County and hanging out at the Audubon Center in Debs Park. Interested in increasing urban biodiversity in my Los Angeles garden by planting CA natives. Becoming more interested in plants and hiking with the California Native Plant Society in Northern CA.
