A marine biologist with a big love for crabs! I mainly identify brachyurans on here. You are always welcome to tag me in your crab observations or send me a message. Replies might be a little delayed from summer 2024 to summer 2025 because I am on fieldwork in Ny-Ålesund, Svalbard.

Currently I am working on Polar cod physiology as part of my PhD in Germany (University of Mainz & Alfred Wegener Institute). I am also working part time on European and East-African crab taxonomy for Naturalis Biodiversity Center, Leiden, the Netherlands.
