I grew up in San Francisco and have been hiking in Point Reyes since my teens in the early '70's. I loved learning about Native American uses of plants. Later I became a landscape designer, specializing in native and mediterranean adapted plants for gardens. I live in Oakland with my husband and we spend weekends hiking in Point Reyes.
