Holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) and a degree in Information System, São Marcos University, a master's degree in Plant Biology from UFSC. Has experience in the area of Botany, with emphasis on Taxonomy of Fanerógamos acting mainly in the following subjects, taxonomy, Orchidaceae, Domain of the Atlantic Forest.

Currently works as a biologist at the Environment Institute of the State of Santa Catarina (IMA-SC), acting in the environmental licensing of enterprises in hydric resources.
