Through SCUBA diving, careful observation, and research, I use ecology to inform my husbandry practices and design exhibits that bring the natural environment into the Sitka Sound Science Center aquarium. My favorite animal changes almost daily, but at the time of writing this, it is a basket star (Gorgonocephalus eucnemis). If I am not in the aquarium, I am likely diving, hiking, or building computers.
