I am a horticulturist and run the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) Botanical Gardens, Pietermaritzburg campus. I curate the collections of orchids, KZN Streptocarpus, Cape Oxalis, Cape winter rainfall bulbs, KZN Hypoxis, summer rainfall bulbs, KZN Ledebouria, aroids, Gasteria, succulents, KZN Crassula, KZN Delosperma, KZN Pelargonium, Amaryllids, KZN Asteraceae, KZN Indigenous bonsai and Zulu Medicinal Plants. I am active in the Pmb Inland Botanical Society, Pmb Bonsai Society, Pmb Orchid Society, Pmb Cycad Society and the Midlands CREW (Custodians of Rare & Endangered Wildflowers) group.
