Some work is being done or planned on the West part of the Lake Merced. A black tarp around 2.5 feet high was set there, in the other side of the street from the Janet Pomeroy Center, as a little wall, at the side of the walking path. A lot of critters are using it now: spiders, bugs, mosquitoes. Good for taking pictures.

Today I followed this little turtle that was swimming along the west shore of lake Merced. It went down into the water, came up, swam a little, repeat. I was hoping it to go out and rest on close by rocks, but I am sure the turtle was keeping an eye on me....
