Rock Quarry road NW is private. Went to Dickerson Creek instead, hoping to find some woodland morels. 6 miles total, came up empty handed. Of course, on the drive out, I saw a beautiful morel growing in someone’s lawn. Nature is cruel.

Today Im going to be driving up to Gold Mountain, west of Port Orchard. I heard that last year there was a pretty substantial fire on Rock Quarry Rd NW, we will see if its even accessible or if its closed off. Hoping to find some burn morels. 🤞🏼 Also have no clue as to whether or not its private property. Again, we will see.
