Since June 11th 2017 we have been unable to get into the river due to all the rain. Some weeks we had 5" or more making it high and FAST! We just had 3 days of normal weather lowering the Big Rib River, in Marathon Wisconsin. One of the things I noticed was how the bottom of the river had changed in it's layout. New channels were cut on the sides and a little sand bar was there. And as always there were plenty of crawfish, all sizes. Also saw bait minnows, pinheads.
