Plant Diversity Lab
All five of my plants were observed on May 24th, 2021. I was able to observe all of them in my sister's residential community in South Fulton, Georiga. I have not gotten research grade for my plants and I really hope that more iNaturalist users help with identifying my species soon.
Privets
I found the privets in the front yard of my sister's house. I have not gotten any ID from other users but I strongly believe that they are Golden Privets due to their yellow leaves, which other privet types do not have.
Holly
I also found the Holly plant in the front yard. I first believed that it was a Common Box due to the shape of its leaves but I am started to suspect that it is a Japanese Holly due to the small red budding I saw when observed it closer.
Red Tip Photinia
Yet another plant found in the front yard. I assumed from the beginning that this plant was a Red Tip Photinia because it matches the pictures and description perfectly.
Shumard's Oak
This tiny tree was also in the front yard. I believe it is a Shumard's Oak because of the distinctive leaf shape.
Annual Meadow-Grass
This grass was growing in the backyard. At first, I could not identify what type of grass it was but I am suspecting that it is Annual Meadow-Grass because its features match that of the pictures I have seen.
