Species ID with SANParks and SANParks HR
A combined species ID and snare patrol was done on 17 October 2020. Two large wire snares were found next to the central wetland, probably set for the otters. Nearby we found a bush clearing with a cultivated vegetable garden with recent signs of activity. Both snares and the garden were destroyed. More than 30 new observations were recorded.
