Observations:
- height of clumps variable based on habitat and maturity, ranging from around 15–35 cm tall
- leaves without ligule; spirally arranged in an anti-clockwise direction; margins bristled along tip of leaf
- spikelets 2–4
- glumes 1–1.5 mm long, distichously arranged on lower half of spikelet, then spirally arranged on upper half/tip of spikelet
- stigmas 3
- nutlet tuberculate (warty), about 0.4–0.5mm in diameter
- I have found clumps in two localities in Singapore so far: one is a protected locality, the other is along a large, open field. The soil type along these two localities are rather similar: likely sandy loam.
