Clarification on ID would be appreciated, it has a stellar blue colour, quite small. The species most visually similar does not occur in the region it was spotted in.
In the Oewersig Park next to the guesthouse.

Ran into glass door just before dawn. Appeared severely impaired & with air temp around 5-6degC I didn't think it would survive. Covered with a box to keep darker & dissuade predators, to see if it recovered. Seemed increasingly alert over course of the day & gone before sunset.

Found dead on floor of woodworkshop, don't know if it was stepped on, or died of natural causes. Likely to be local, but could have come in on log or attached soil.
