growing on dead branch of bay laurel. moss grown into cap. classification characteristics: pink polypore. porous underside with pink cap. Woody and tough.
Found on sedge in Mendocino county. Mushroom is stretchy/rubbery.
Purple gills. Near live oak
on underside of piece of Quercus bark.
Spores globose, ornamented, blue in H2O. Clamp connections present.
Found at Yuba Pass in Sierras. Sticky cortina on annulus, viscid/glutinous cap.
Next to the road beneath Bishop pines and pygmy cypress. Very few fly larvae. Doesn't stain blue when cut.
