Turtle was observed laying eggs in a backyard garden. A nest protector was installed and CWF was informed. The location of the nest is in a very rocky spot with limited space to properly anchor the protector. Some rocks were added. Update: CWF experts have removed the eggs. They will be incubated in a special location to be later released near the nest site. This approach will increase their survivability. CWF team was surprised to find 19 eggs in the nest.
