Could not get a great photo of these guys. 2-3 males displaying for a female, under a coast live oak. Males had VERY bulbous front legs (see silhouette in 3rd photo), and they would display by holding them up and out to the side & waving them slowly. Mouthparts almost have a bluish hue to them. Female was dull brown. Closest to H. oregonensis in my field guides (California by Adams & Manolis and North America by Rose).
