Dead on sidewalk underneath skybridge near building windows. Still warm when found, must have just died before I got there..
These are all the same tick. Put it in ethanol to stop it, but that did lead to a glare.
If a tick expert could ID Madison's tick from the same location, that would be great. Removed around 16 of them from myself and one of my dogs. They are presumably the same species.

I wrote Black-capped Chickadee on the salvage tag but should’ve been a Carolina Chickadee? Left in ziplock bag for pictures because it had tiny maggots all over it.
Stunned on city sidewalk, standing but not moving, eyes closed at the time of first observation, then open but still standing in one place. Gentle cover with cloth and relocated to a safe place near woods where it flew into the woods.
Found stunned in the road nearby where I found the dead male Painted Bunting (S2023FW31). I approached her to deliver to rehab, but she flew towards the building wall and continued to fly against the building perimeter, unable to leave the area. She was not injured and appeared active and alert, so I caught and released her to Tandy Hills Natural Area where I have seen other Painted Bunting observations and is far enough from the city/downtown area. She flew off immediately upon release, no signs of injury.
