On Rocky bar rd downslope of Slug Gulch. 2500' elevation.
On cut logs from a fire which lay half submerged in mud and a stream on the uphill side of a culvert. Very exposed area.
Substrate- muddy wood, and sand.
Taste- slightly unpleasant metallic.
KOH- Negative.
UV - becoming slightly pale.
Fruiting in a variety of substrate in this spot. There appears to be a water level rise as some of these are submerged in water while others are very near to the stream.
On a maple log in high grass on a slope
A squash prep in KOH revealed what I think are spores length range 2,7 to 4.4 microns mean 3.7 width rnage2.3 to 3.3 microns mean 2.9 broadly ellipsoid. Although T. viride is, I read, an important antifungal agent, I could not find anything about its spores.
In riparian area on fallen Betula occidentalis branch.
Growing on blue oak (Quercus douglasii)
