Another dead North American River Otter was found in the area known as the Ladd natural area in Duncanville, TX. This is the second one I have found within a years time. One had gotten tangled in underbrush along Ten Mile Creek and drowned (I assume) when Ten Mile Creek flooded. This one was found on Cedar Hill Rd after the creek flooded again and it likely sought higher ground. It was hit by a car. Duncanville animal control shared with me that they had picked up an injured otter as well as a dead otter found on Duncanville Rd after a flooding situation. I was told that several months ago. Four killed or injured near one stretch of Ten Mile Creek in Duncanville, TX. We have otters and need to protect them more.
