Habitat: Very wet field forested field (oaks) with small creek running N–S through the middle of the property; cardinalis plants were in and along the creek. In and along creek, depression. Understory. Disturbance: mowing. Associated Species: Sympatric with L. inflata, L. nuttallii, and L. puberula. Percent cover: 5-10% Population 0% damaged (all healthy).
