Understory consists of Salal, Oregon Grape, Sword Fern, Evergreen Huckleberry, Red Huckleberry, Beaked Hazelnut.
Morning frost was already melting and steaming from the rooftops when I saw this Robin land at the edge of the waterfall. The robin splashed and bathed on the left side first, then flitted to the right side for a couple more dips.
Habitat: Edge of a shaded pond in mixed deciduous understory plants (Mostly Rhododendron macrophyllum, but also lots of winterberry) and a conifer dominant overstory. Backyard of apartment complex along Evergreen Park Drive Sw Olympia WA
