Small fruit bodies growing on a piece of rotting wood on the ground in broadleaf-podocarp forest. Caps to 10 mm across, dark brown in the centre, fading to fawn nearer the margin, surface texture rough, margin rolled under. Gills crowded, white with some orange tints. Stem very short.
A single, protruding fungus on a tree trunk in the coastal forest along Coomie’s Walk, Abraham’s Bosom Reserve, Currarong. The top was brown & like sandpaper. The underside was cream & porous.
