Known site, single plant found, removed. Alarm bells as this has gone to flower since my last visit 6 weeks ago. I definitely did not simply overlook it, it was in the open.
Known site, revisited. Only 7 plants found and removed, all small, all under or in dense marram or Spinifex. Last visit found more, ref. https://inaturalist.nz/observations/112471578 so maybe we're winning. Wait until spring!
A single plant pops up at a known site which has not shown any signs of spurge since it was initially 'addressed'. Ref. the original find https://inaturalist.nz/observations/102788425
14 new plants pulled in a familiar location. Last visit seven weeks ago with the regional sea spurge team removed 160+ small plants from this location. This morning's log was all plants under 100mm of height above ground, ie. they have appeared since the October visit, ref. https://inaturalist.nz/observations/138686268
Known site, only four found this time. A Regional Council team was through here before Christmas, if I remember correctly.
Recording infestation. Many seedlings. Began control May 25 2021
Numerous seedlings are a serious concern as a potential weed in local forest adjoining the Patea river. Parent plants are planted.
Two self seeded ramarama plants next to a fence and footpath. Infection older, still some yellow rust spores visible mostly on stems, obvious dieback of leaves and shoot tips.
