Field Notes - Small low flying butterfly seen 3 in the small grassy area next to the creek.
Field Notes - Harry Springs Conservation park. This butterfly does not stop flying! I did not see it stop to land. It seems to pause for a nano second and then move on. Could only get a photo by hoping the camera could focus onnit while in flight.
A very neat looking beetle. It differs from Ischalia vancouverensis by having less black dorsally and the black marks continuing onto the epipleuron. I couldn't find any canadian records of this species so it could be a new addition to the list!
