הזיהויים של flaviar

I know I'm not giving you much to go on with my photos of this little muppet, but birders are usually pretty good at identifying from not a lot of information. This guy was a little too big (and a bit to late in the evening) to be one of the songbirds we get around here. There's a nighthawk in the area, and I've heard but not seen owls around here. He didn't have anything to say, which would have distinguished between the options.
