Found hiding in the soil under a large granite rock under a shady tree. Though easily grabbed, tried to escape by wriggling vigorously. Didn't tire itself out quickly and wiggled the whole time I was holding it (~5 min. as I was trying to get a clear picture of it).
Also gaped its mouth at me, which was adorable.
