This is an isolated population found at a small pool near a cave entrance. The cave had a very small flow of water that created a pool nearby. It may not be neotenes but another seperate subspps.
AOR near puddles on roadway. Many individuals present on road. Other anuran species present reported separately.

This salamander was found under a rock in a small ravine that leads into Barton Creek. The previous week had multiple inches of rain.
