An adult male Virile Crayfish, caught and released in the stream. This male is Form II and has a regenerated right cheliped.
A large and very aggressive adult male Virile Crayfish, caught and released in the stream near my high school. It is Form I and both chelipeds are non-regenerated.
This specimen is the largest adult female Virile Crayfish I've ever caught and released in the stream near my high school. She is in berry and is a very healthy individual.
Another large male Virile Crayfish, caught and released in the stream near my high school. It is a form I male, and its left cheliped has an oddly shaped daftyl, similar to that of Faxonius Immunis. This male was also covered in muck, and also was showing signs that it is preparing to molt soon.
