Northeast San Antonio. Assumed this was a Pipevine Swallowtail from far away but on closer inspection, realized it is the much more uncommon Ruby-Spotted Swallowtail! This is a male, seen at 9:30 am, 16 May 2018. Larval hostplants are trees in the citrus (Rutaceae) family including Citrus, Casimiroa, Helietta, and Zanthoxylum species.
