Cardinal getting territorial with itself in this mirror. It was doing the same thing last week too. It spends a not-insignificant amount of time battling itself.

This was not a captive ermine. Not sure how it got in the house, but it left through the open front door shortly after three photos taken.

More pictures to add. Stayed perched near the popular outlook spot on the Red Rocks cliffs for about 5 minutes, ignoring human activity. Called out 3 times before swooping down and out of sight.

Fell from the sky at my feet, taken down by this dragonfly. He has breakfast and flew away.

This Northern Goshawk killed and ate one of my chickens.

First time that I've seen a snake in the area other than typical garter snakes.
