kept an eye on this lil guy for a while so he didn’t get stepped on. he was not happy when I tried to get him on a piece of bark so I could move him. we realized his right wing wasn’t working right. eventually we called authorities, who took him hopefully to get some vet/wildlife rehab assistance! he was so cute

this is my friend jolene whom i love dearly. she sits on her porch and looks at me sometimes, but mostly she hides in her sleeping bag. i saw her catch a weevil once. i would die for her

our guide said they think she was likely kicked by a zebra at some point, giving her a blind eye. she was beautiful

stole a leopard's stashed warthog from out of a tree. she was very uncertain about the whole tree-climbing thing, but didn't want to drop the warthog. eventually it broke in half and she could maneuver easier, and proceeded to eat on the ground.

I sat and watched this guy hatch from his shell over the course of an hour or so. it was fascinating to see the whole thing start to finish! and the color changes as he dried out. i took a time lapse video of it but unfortunately you can’t post videos. the shade of green in his wings before they’re dry is one of my favorite colors. one of his forelegs was a bit deformed so he couldn’t grab on with it, but otherwise he seemed just fine.
